| Secretary Sports Council visits stadium | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 18: The newly appointed Secretary of J&K State Sports Council, Kiran Wattal today visited MA Stadium and Indoor Complex to take stock of various developmental works taking place there.
He also interacted with the coached and trainees at different coaching centers of badminton, table tennis, judo, boxing, volleyball, skating and taekwondo.
To gain first hand information, Secretary inquired about the facilities being extended to the trainees at the coaching centers and issued on spot instructions to the coaches and officers concerned.
Meanwhile, taking serious note of the delaying tactics of the contractors engaged in development works, Secretary has already cancelled the work orders with regard to volleyball court and kabaddi field, a handout issued by the Sports Council here today said.
