| Press Club members held meet, apprised SSP of problems faced by media persons | | |

JAMMU, July 18: Anand Jain, Senior Superintendent of Police, Jammu, along with his team of senior officers today had an hour long interaction session with the Managing Committee and the members of the Press Club, in the Club premises.
The meeting was arranged by the Press Club of Jammu to appraise the law and order problems being faced by the public in the city of temples, during the interaction, SSP, Jammu was also appraised of problems being faced by the media persons while discharging professional duties, especially when there are VVIP functions. He was requested to direct the subordinate staff to kindly cooperate with media persons.
While speaking on the occasion, Jain assured full cooperation to the people, from the Police department. He said, all out efforts are being made to create a cordial and friendly atmosphere between the Police and the public, so that cooperation from both the sides is extended to each other for the mitigation of the law and order problems faced by a common man.
Earlier, on his arrival, Jain was greeted by the Secretary General and was presented bouquet by the Treasurer and other senior members from the journalist fraternity.
He was also felicitated by the President of the Press Club on behalf of the Managing Committee, by presenting him a shawl and mementoes.
