| Adequate stocks of fertilizers supplied across Jammu region | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JULY 18- The Agriculture department has dispatched adequate stocks of fertilizers across the Jammu region, including remotest areas as per the local requirement.
The information was given at a meeting of the department convened to review the stocking and availability of fertilizers, with the Director Agriculture, Jammu, . Ajay Khajuria in the chair.
It was disclosed that one rake (2600 tons) of urea from IFFCO have been dispatched to all the fertilizer sale centre of Jammu division, especially in remote areas of Budhal and Darhal of district Rajouri, Mahore of district Reasi and district Poonch.
It was further informed that the fresh arrival of Urea from Chambal expected shortly will also be dispatched to all the fertilizer sale centres of Jammu division which will help in meeting the requirement of farmers for the Kharif crops.
The advised the farmers to lift the fertilizers from their nearest fertilizer sale centre and meet their requirement for maize crop.
