| Arms, ammunition recovered from Rajouri, Reasi | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI/KATRA, July 18: Arms and ammunition were today recovered by
security forces from two militant hideouts in Rajouri and Reasi forests.
Acting on a specific information, a joint column of police and 60 RR searched
out a natural cave in Khodra dhok forests of Budhal, Rajouri, and recovered
from there one AK rifle along with three magazines and 251 rounds, three radio
sets, 30 pika gun rounds, six UBGL grenades, one RPG along with seven
grenades, 73 explosive sticks and one Chinese grenade.
The cave was being used by militants as their hideout, police sources said.
Another police and army column recovered two AK rifles along with two
magazines and 117 rounds, one bag and some other items from a militant
hiodeout Mathun Soo Top in Reasi.
Both the hideouts were later smashed by forces.
