An alleged case of firing on sarpanch

EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU: Asgar Ali, a sarpanch, today alleged that he was fired upon by his brother-in-law with the intention to kill him.
He claimed that he had a narrow escape in the incident.
A police officer, however, said they had received no complaint from anybody in this regard. He said a police team visited the area and found that there was no truth in the allegation.
Asgar's wife and other family members expressed their ignorance about the incident, he informed.
The sarpanch has joint business ventures with his brother-in-law who lives at Trikuta Nagar.
