| Thatri undeveloped on tourism sector | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Thathri , July 19: A Public meeting of the villages of Joura Kalan, Joura Khurd, Nandana, Budhi, Ranote and Jia was held under the chairmanship of Kuldeep Kumar Rao, president Tehsil Thathri Development Front.
In the meeting the public of the area urged the state government that Tehsil Thathri which has more than 70,000 voters, divided in three constituencies, has been totally ignored by the government. No tourist spot have been developed in Tehsil Thathri, the natural beautiful tourist spots like Jantron Dhar, Mata Rashwar Temple, Lamote Dhar and many other attractive spot are in Tehsil Thathri but not a single tourist spot has been developed by Bhadarwah Tourist Development authority or By Kishtwar Tourist Development Authority till date.
They appealed to Chief Minister, Tourist Minister, MLA, Bhadarwah, Mohd Sharief Niaz & MLC, Naresh Kumar Gupta to personally pay due attention on top priority towards Kahara-Jai road and Chiralla road for promoting these natural beautiful tourist spot Jantron Dhar and Lamote Dhar which starts from Panshee and ends at Goilla , surrounded by the villages Joura Khurd, Shamdlian, Budhi, Halaran, Sichal, Ranote, Goilla,,Chirra, Nandana, Daddi-Kathava, and many villages of Chiralla and Panshee areas.
More over If the end point of Chirralla road be linked with Kahara-Jai road at Joura, the linkage which measures only 4 to 5 kilometers will turn the two roads into circular network linking famous natural tourist spots like Jantron Dhar,Lamote Dhar, Mata Rashwar Temple and Jai with all other tourist spots of the district.
Rao also demanded Tourism Development Authority for Tehsil Thathri.
Among others who were present in the meeting included Anil Kumar , Arshad Ahmad, Ramtullah Batt. Nizam Din, Lakhmi Ram, Brij Raj, Ashok Kumar, Subash Chander, Surjeet Singh and others.
