“KPs rehabilitation in Valley doesn’t require concurrence of UN”

Jammu, July 19: Kundan Kashmiri, National President KPC today discussed overall problems & demands of Kashmiri Pandit community with his party activists & supporters at Jammu and stated that delibrate delay & denial by State & Central Govt. in permanent & purposeful rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits at the” land of Kashyap ” is politically motivated which serves their purpose at the cost of the victim community in exile from last 21 yrs.
The main demand of the consolidated rehabilitation of KPs with overall empowerment & complete writ & control of Indian Constitution in Kashmir Valley neither requires concurrence of United Nations nor approval of Pakistan but it needs only will & courage of State & Central Govt. to fulfill this genuine demand of nationalist community of Kashmiri Pundits
Kundan Kashmiri further stated that leaders running the polity of the state
& center has failed to identify themselves with KP community which would have serious consequences in near future.
He said alienations of KPs are increasing with every passing day & Govt. is deliberately keeping themselves unaware from the aspirations of KP community.
He said no doubt KP’s are not vote bank for these politicians but has great role to play as opinion makers ,analysts & trend setters for them in the present democratic system of the country.
Stating about the passage of KP’s Shrine Bill in the State assembly, Kundan
Kashmiri said that passage of this Bill will be the result oriented confidence building measures (CBM) to win the hearts of KP’s & respect their sentiments attached with these shrines & temples in the valley.
He appealed NC led ruling alliance to table the KPs shrine bill in the coming assembly session of J&K State and requested MLC Vijay Bakaya to persuade the matter in the house to get the bill passed.
Earlier KPC team headed by its national president Kundan Kashmiri visited
Jagti migrants, left out migrants at Muthi,Purkhoo & Mishriwala as well as to some non- camp migrants to know their problems & difficulties.
This team of KPC heard their overall problems & miseries for onward submission to Prime Minister of India, Home Minister of India, Chief Minister & Governor of the J&K State for immediate redressel.
He said that the condition of camp & non –camp migrant dwellers is totally pathetic particularly at Jagti & other camps which need immediate attention by the State administration & the Govt. as well.
Kundan Kashmiri exhorted his activists & supporters to activate themselves to expose the misdeeds & failures of the administration & the Govt. if failed to reach their expectations.
