LIC extends concessions to Mumbai blast victims

EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 19: LIC through an internal communication has directed its Claims Department in the branches to extend relaxations while settling the death claims of the victims of the July 13 Mumbai blast.
This step has been taken to mitigate the hardships of the affected families. The concessions are related to settlement & investigation of Death claims, Double accident & disability benefit etc.
Also special help desk & Special task force has been constituted to ensure that the concessions and the benefits are reaching the needy policy holders.
It has also been reported that LIC’s Opera House Branch ( code no 909) has already settled and paid death claim of Rs 4.91lacs to the claimant of late S C Shah within 2 days of the blast .
Through this timely customer sensitive initiative, the Insurance behemoth has once again proved that it is the number one & most trusted Insurance Brand.
