| SVO produces challan against erring officers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, JULY 19:- State Vigilance Organization presented challan in case FIR No 15/2010-VOK against Ab Rashid Bhat Son of Wali Mohammad Bhat Resident of Wadwan Budgam the then ACD Kupwara and Ab Rashid Khan S/o Nizam-u-Din Khan R/o Maidanpora Kupwara, then SO to ACD Office Kupwara, before the Court of Special Judge Anti Corruption, Srinagar.
The accused Govt. Servants while being posted as ACD Kupwara and SO respectively in ACD office Kupwara, had demanded and accepted an amount of Rs 10,000/- as illegal gratification from the complainant Sh Gh Rasool Shah Son of Mohammad Yousuf Shah Resident of Dragmulla Kupwara for preparing a letter for revalidation of funds in his favour on account of work executed by the complainant (Electrification work of Community Information Centre of Kupwara) during the year 2007
