| Div Com discusses Comprehensive Mobility Plan for Jammu city | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JULY 19- To discuss Comprehensive Mobility Plan (CMP) being prepared by M/S RITES Ltd for the capital city of Jammu, Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal convened a meeting of officers of various departments here today.
Reviewing the status of road projects including Widening of BC road, over head bridge behind DC office, flyover from Vikram Chowk to onward and others, Divisional Commissioner asked the executing agencies and other concerned departments to ensure close coordination so that these vital projects could be completed in a time bound manner.
It may be worthmentioning here that the Divisional Commissioner Jammu has earlier been nominated as Nodal Officer for co-ordination, liasoning/ monitoring with M/S RITES Ltd., for the preparation of Comprehensive Mobility Plan for Jammu City.
District Development Commissioner Jammu Mr. Sanjeev Verma, Chief Engineer R&B Mr. Thaseen Mustafa, Commissioner JMC Mr. S. C. Sawhney, officers from JDA, Traffic, Town Planning, and other concerned department attended the meeting.
