| Man rapes sister-in-law in Reasi | | | Early Times Report
katra, July 19: A man allegedly raped his 20-year-old sister-in-law at the latter's home at Bagoti in Pouni, Reasi, Sunday.
Police said Rakesh Kumar (29), son of Sheru Ram of Triyal, Reasi, came his in-laws' house at Bagoti Sunday evening.
Finding his sister-in-law Mamta (20), daughter of Prakash Raj, all alone at home, he locked her in a room of the house and then allegedly raped her.
Mamta narrated the incident to her mother Satya Devi Monday evening. Police said Satya lodged a report against her son-in-law with Pouni police this morning.
Acting on the complaint, police arrested Rakesh from his residence. He was booked under section 376 of RPC.
The girl was also got medically examined at a local hospital, police informed. |
