| Social, political activist join PDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 20: On persuasion of Pawan Dev Singh, district president Samba, PDP and a large number of social and political activist of Samba city joined the Peoples Democratic Party at Sumb, district Samba in a simple but impressive function.
In the said function many senior leaders of PDP including Tarlok Singh Bajwa, vice president, Balbir Singh, general secretary, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, ex-MLA, Daman Bhasin, senior leaders etc. were present on this occasion.
While welcoming them in PDP, Balbir Singh said that the present Govt led by National Conference has failed on all fronts and the gap between the political leaders and the general masses has widened.
He stressed upon them to educate the masses about the misdeeds of the present govt. and said that PDP is the only party that can solve the problems of the people of the state and come upto the expectation of the people.
Other leaders present in the meeting urged upon them to whole heartedly support the policies and programmes of PDP and strengthen the hands of Mehbooba Mufti president PDP who is the only leader in the state who can come upto the expectations of the general masses.
