| Two days’ annual Parna yatra from July 27 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Kishtwar July 20:- Two days annual Mata Bal Ashth Dash Bujja commonly known as Parna yatra in Kishtwar district will begin from Wednesday 27th of July 2011 from Maa Kali Mandir Tulsi Nagar Matta Kishtwar and will culminate at Parna Mandir Chingham Chatroo next day. As per the details given by the Chuni Lal Shan, general secretary Shiv Shakti Seva Da, the main organizer of annual parna yatra, the yatra will start from Kishtwar at 12.30 p.m. from Maa Kali Mandir and after brief halt at Neel Gangeshwar Temple Bhanderkoot and Dadpath for having prashad Bhandara, the yatra will reach the temple at 6.30 p.m. where after night pujja, the yatra will culminate next day. He said that in connection with this annual Yatra, the organization has written a detail letter to Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar for their cooperation in terms of security, staff with medicines and ambulances, SRTC buses, drinking water facilities at both the temples and uninterrupted electricity during the yatra period. He also urged up the DDC Kishtwar for issuing necessary instruction to the GREF authorities for keeping the road cleared for transportation during the yatra period. Shan hoped that like past practices, the district administration will make satisfactory arrangements for the success of the yatra.
