| BJP appealed for mass membership drive | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 20: BJP State General Secretary and Prabhari Sat Sharma (C.A) undertook a tour of R S Pura and appointed Mandal president of Arnia Unit and announced names of other members of the mandal executive. He also visited Bishnah, Suchetgarh and R S Pura mandals.
On the occasion, Sat Sharma announced dates of forthcoming programmes at R.S. Pura. District executive meeting of the party will be held on July 24 and a big programme against corruption will be held on July 31 at which a national leader will be present.
He said that the party has launched programmes against corruption and black money in foreign banks. As a part of the programme the party will approach people at district and mandal level and educate them about various scams at national and state level.
He also appealed for a mass membership drive and the committee to set a target of 500 Kamal Sandesh magazine and 1 lakh for Aajivan Sehyog Nidhi.
Jasbir Singh Lucky, Raj Singh, Sat Pal Singh Pappi, Bishan Choudhary, S P Bral, Deepak Padha, S. Gupta, Dharmendra Kumar, Ramesh Saini and others were present in the meeting
