| Madan stresses for massive awareness about centrally sponsored schemes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, JULY 20-Member Parliament, Mr Madan Lal Sharma, has stressed the need for creating massive awareness for optimum realization of benefits of various centrally sponsored schemes so that benefits of these schemes could reach the targeted population.
Mr Madan said this while addressing a public meeting at Muthi here today.
Vice Chairman for Development & OBC, Kuldeep Raj Verma was also present.
Mr Madan said that schemes like NREGA, RGGVY, IAY, TSC, NRHM, etc will transform the socio-economic status of poor and rural people in a big way. He emphasized the need for effective implementation of these schemes as per guidelines to yield enhanced results.
Appreciating the achievements of the coalition government registered in the state during last two and half years, the MP said that the state is successfully making optimum utilization of the liberal funding being provided by the Centre Government. He said that the state has witnessed a notable transformation in every parameter of development front.
Mr. Madan Lal asked the people to effectively monitor the development and welfare programmes being launched in their respective areas for more results. He said that government alone cannot change the whole scenario in a night’s time but people’s participation is essential in this regard.
