| Municipal Welfare Committee elects president, others | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu/July 20:
A meeting of working committee of Municipal Welfare, Nanak Nagar was
held in which Ram Lal was unanimously elected as President, J.B.
Bali Cashier, Dhanwant Singh Secretary, Ajit Singh Vice President,
Balbir Mehta Publicity Secretary and Joginder Singh was elected as
Join Secretary. Three active members were nominated by the president
are Sudarhsan Singh Jamwal, Gurdev Singh and Amarjit Singh.
Committee extends thanks to Honble Minister for Revenue Relief and
Rehabilitation for the development work done in the sector. In the
meeting all the members decided to approach Health Officer for
cleanliness of drains and Nallah. Ram Lal and others were of the view
that Municipal Committee Jammu, PHE and UED are not paying attention
towards the problems of rehabilitants. During rainy season water
overflows and creates problems for the people. Lastly meeting was
concluded by vote of thanks by S. Prem Singh advisor and KCS Mehta.
