LJP condemns lathicharge on state govt employees

JAMMU, July 20: Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) has condemned police lathicharge on state government employees in Srinagar.
In a meeting of the party held under the Chairmanship of Sanjeev Manmotra, State working President LJP, the members strongly condemned police Lathi Charge on peaceful demonstration of the employees at Srinagar.
They regretted that instead of initiating purposeful dialogue with the employees for amicable solution the government deliberately irritating its working force to adopt the path of agitation.
It is very unfortunate that the government is not willing to listen to the genuine protest of the employees. They have a democratic right to express their grievances and present their demand in a peaceful way. They are forced to protest on streets only because they are not getting their 6th pay commission dues Manmotra urged the government to immediately release of their 6th pay commission dues.
The members who attended the meeting were K.K Rao, M.R Puri, Madan Gopal, Ramesh Lal, Subash Baba, Ashok Kumar Gupta and others.
