| Common man’s dilemma on corrupt administrative settings | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, july 21: An active member of All J&K Movement For Peace & Justice, Kuldeep Kumar Rao feels that something solid needs to be immediately done in order to bring back to the rails the derailed socio-political system in the J&K State.
Corruption, injustice, lawlessness have reached the peak. All-pervading adulteration which is endangering the health of the whole society by slow poisoning every member of it, is pervasive & there is none to take care of it as the people at the helm of affairs are either involved in it or hush the matter up by receiving gratifications.
Can we expect any amendment of harsh laws and an effective implementation of these laws from this type of government? It is not unworthy of a democratic country to kill the criminal who is killing hundreds of innocent people by slow poisoning.
Recently, in China, two persons were publicly shot dead after they were found to sell adulterated milk. Though adulteration is a rare occurrence in that country yet they don’t tolerate even these rare offences. We need to follow the example of China.
Rao appeals to the activist from different political parties and social organizations who feel that morality and the role of moralists is the most important need in today’s social and political setup, to please unite and jointly & dedicatedly fight against all those corrupt high ups who are responsible for the unrest and economic backwardness in the state. Our effort would be to sideline all the corrupt & firmly rooted politicians who are least concerned about the woe of the common man but are concerned only with furthering their own interests & also with their dynastic supremacy.
They will be replaced by young, energetic & honest people who have themselves been sufferers of the prevailing system & as such really know where a common man’s shoe is pinching.
Rao requests all such like minded people irrespective of caste ,colour and creed to join All J&K Movement for peace and Justice, a conglomerate of so many other organizations, which was formed with the sole purpose of fighting against corruption, injustice and inequalities .
