| Police nabs 5 narcotic smugglers in Ramban | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 21: Five narcotic smugglers were arrested along with contraband of ‘bhukki’ and ‘charas’ in Ramban district.
"Based on tip-off, a raid was conducted last evening at a tea stall in Batote area of Ramban and during frisking, 1.6 kg charas and 1.2 kg bhukki was recovered from the possession of smugglers," police sources said.
They said the contraband was being smuggled for supplying it in the area.
The accused were identified as Kuldeep Singh, Mohinder Singh, Kartar Singh, Rakesh Kumar and Tirath Singh, all residents of Batote, district Ramban.
