| Kanakmnadi businessman arrested in Cheque bounce case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 21:
City police arrested a person in cheque bounce case and produced him before court here today. As per police sources, one Sohail lodged a complaint with the court that he was given two cheques worth Rs 3 lakh each by a Kanak Mandi based businessman namely Sudarshan Arora.
However, when he went to Citizen Cooperative Bank, branch Kanak Mandi for clearance of the same he was told by the bank employees that account holder has no amount in his credit.
A civil case was registered against the accused but he was not attending the court hearing. Court issued arrest warrant against him and directed the police to arrest the alleged accused besides producing him before court.
