Anantnag, July 21 (KNS): Haji Mohammad Abdullah Mir father of Agriculture Minister, Ghulam Hassan Mir, passed away on Thursday.
Mir was laid to rest at his ancestral graveyard in Hariwatnu Tangmarg. Hundreds of people participated in his nimaz-e-jinazah. His Rasm-e-Chahrum according to family sources would be held on July 24 (Sunday) at the official Church Lane residence of G H Mir.
Meanwhile, Governor, N N Vohra, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, Union Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah, PDP patron, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, Education Minister, Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed, PHE Minister, Taj Mohi-ud-Din, MoS Home, Nasir Aslam Wani, MLA Khansahib, Hakeem Mohammad Yasin, MLA Kulgam M Y Tarigami have condoled demise of M A Mir and expressed sympathies with the breveted family.
