| Employee injured during demolition drive in Akhnoor | | |
Akhnoor, Nov 28
An employee was injured when some shop keepers clashed with a team of the officials of Municipal Committee Akhnoor during a demolition drive, here today.
Sources told News Agency of Kashmir that a team of municipal committee Akhnoor today launched a demolition drive in Raja Bazar Akhnoor to vacate encroachment in the market. However some shopkeepers resisted over the demolition of their structures and indulged into a scuffle with enforcement team, sources said adding that the shopkeepers attacked the team and injured one of the employees Rajinder Kumar.
Meanwhile police reached at the site of clash to control the situation. The shopkeepers who were allegedly involved in thrashing of an employee fled from the place, police has registered a case under section 332 RPC and launched a hunt to nab the accused. |
