Rajiv Jyoti yatra flagged off

JAMMU, July 21:


20th Rajiv Jyoti yatra was started today by All India Rajiv Gandhi Brigade. The Jyoti was flagged off by Pradesh Congress Committee General Secretary and MLC Ravinder Sharma.
The Jyoti shall be handed over to Rajinder Dubey National President of Rajiv Gandhi Brigade and other senior leaders of the Brigade including General Secretary. In this connection a function was organized by the state unit of the brigade led by state president Sanjay Sawnnay, in which prominent leaders of the party and the
Brigade were present.
Speaking on the occasion Rajinder Dubey All India President of Brigade said that this Rajiv Jyoti shall pass through all states of the country and finally culminate at Veer Bhumi Delhi where the Jyoti shall be handed over to AICC president Sonia Gandhi Ji, who is Chief patron of the Brigade.
Dubey said that this Jyoti is launched every year to remember the contribution of Rajiv Gandhi who laid down his life for the unity and integrity of the country and to maintain the communal harmony and peace in the world.
