EDB signs MoU with Maruti Suzuki | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 21: Ellaquai Dehati Bank signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maruti Suzuki India Limited under tie up arrangements, here today. The MoU was signed by A.K.Razdan, Chairman Ellaquai Dehati Bank on behalf of the E.D.Bank and Ankur Sharma, Regional Manager (North II) on behalf of the Maruti Suzuki India Limited. Addressing to the gathering A.K.Razdan, Chairman, Ellaquai Dehati Bank said that the E.D.Bank is a reputed RRB which provides a wide range of banking services and financial products, including, finance for purchase of motor vehicles and having its network of branches spread throughout the J&K state consisting 80% of rural branches.
“The bank expects to reach through the tie up arrangements to its rural branch network for providing the motor vehicles to the rural needy people” he added.
He further claimed that the tie up arrangements would work under the brand name of “E.D.Bank-Maruti” finance which will be the brand name to be used to promote the arrangements at all MARUTI dealerships present in our area of operation. Another addresser Vikas Kohli, All India Head (Maruti Suzuki India Finance Limited) assured that they will provide their possible support to the bank for success of the tie up arrangements. MSIL is the leading automobile company in India and E.D.Bank hold the equal reputation in the J&K state, so this is an historical day for both side, he said. On the occasion Sudhir Mohan Sahni, Area Manager MSIL J&K assured best possible support to promote Tie-Up with E.D.Bank. Prominent persons who were present, chief staffs from E D Bank, Maruti Suzuki Dealerships and MSIL Area office Jammu during the event.
