| NSF will not accept non local VC for CU | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 22: National Secular Forum University Unit today held protest demonstration against the Centre/ State government University campus for not early functioning of the Central University of Jammu.
The UPA government has granted Central University to the valley only to calm down the people.
Addressing the gathering District President NSF Ravi Choudhary has taken a strong note of delay in the coming up of Central University in Jammu. He said that Jammu people have always been mistreated and same has happened in the case of coming up of Central University in Jammu.
He also said that Jammu and Ladakh have been provided with partial treatment by the UPA government since it has come into power and they have been caring too much about Kashmir. Also the UPA government has granted central university to Jammu only when the people of Jammu launched a mass protest with sacrificing many lives.
Surjit Choudhary District Chairman appealed to all the MP, MLA’s and ministers of Jammu to help in setting up of the Centre University in Jammu.
Choudhary informed that while Kashmir Central University was functional despite adverse security scenario with post graduate courses in ITI, MBA, and english being conducted in full swing and several other post graduate courses like integrated law courses, convergent journalism and PG in Mathematics and Economics having been processed for introduction, the fate of Jammu Central University still hangs in limbo. |
