| Bi_Jone, a book in Shina language released | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 22: The Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan along with the MP Ladakh and Executive Councilor for Agriculture released a Book in Shina Language named Bi_Jone (the Rainbow) by Famous Shina Writer, Poet and Scholar Ahmad Jawan Drassi and a Cassette of Naat and Baretaweel in Shina Language by Ghulam Qadir Zaki and Mohsin Hussain Hussaini during a function at Syed Mehdi Memorial Hall Kargil. The Function was organized by the Shingo Educational and Welfare Association Kargil (SEWAK), which working hard in the field of reviving of Shina Culture and Language.
On this book release function hundreds of people belonging to literary wing and from Shina Community were present, who appreciated the role of Ahmad Jawan Drassi in the Preservation of Shina Culture and Language and of SEWAK.
Talking on the occasion the Chief Executive Councilor said that there is a great need of work on the Script of Shina Language as any language which has lost its Script, loses it identity.
Talking on this occasion the MP Ladakh Ghulam Hassan Khan said that the youths have to come forward in the field of Literature and to work for the revival of the Shina Script and Language.
The writer of the Book Bi_Jone said that there is need of the moment for working in the field of Preserving the Shina Language and reviving the script of the Shina Language which is 5000 years old before Christ and also said it is the second book released by him in Shina Language.
The President of SEWAK Mohd Hamza presented the Welcome Speech and said that it’s a proud Moment for the Shina Community for such a great achievement as for the first time a book in Shina Language and a Cassette of Baretaweel and Qasida is released, which will become a guide for the future generation.
