Approach us for settlement of undecided cases: LA panel

SRINAGAR, Jul 22: A meeting of Committee on Petitions of Legislative Assembly was held today under the chairmanship of Abdul Majid Wani in which working and functioning of the committee was discussed in detail.
Committee deliberated upon the petitions received by it and appealed the people to approach the Committee for justice if their genuine cases of public interest have not been settled in other forums. The cases must not, however, be sub-judice.
Legislators, Rafi Ahmad Mir, Mir Zahoor Ahmad, Feroz Khan, Yash Paul Kundal, Peer Aafaq Ahmad, T. Namgyal, Advocate Abdul Haq and Mushtaq Ahmad Shah gave their suggestions to improve the functioning of the Committee. Senior concerned officers of Assembly Secretariat attended the meeting.
