| Rich tributes paid to Jan on death anniversary | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Jul 22: About 15000 residents of Poonch on Friday throng function of 4th death anniversary of Late Ghualm Mohammad Jan, former MLA Haveli Poonch.
Minister for Animal Husbandry Aga Syed Ruhullah along with MLC Jahangir Mir, former legislator Mir Poonchi, District President National Conference, Block Presidents, workers, all Sarpanches and panches paid tribute to the deceased leader at Dak Banglow Poonch. The function of Quran Khawani and Fateh Khawani was also held at the house of Late Jan at Poonch where thousands of people participated in it.
Meanwhile National Conference party leaders had held programme to remember Late Jan in the Dak Banglow where Minister for Animal Husbandry, Sheep Husbandry and Science & Technology Agha Syed Ruhuallah termed Jan as great leader of the people of Poonch. Jahangir Mir, MLC also termed Jan as great leader of Poonch and said that Jan has also highlighted the public issues inside and outside the Assembly.
