BSP condemns police action on students | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, July 23: Bahujan Samaj Party in a meeting held here today under the chairmanship of its state president Tulsi Dass Langeh has given full support to the students and like minded people fighting for the cause of Central University. While speaking on the occasion Langeh said that it is very sad that most of the central universities including Kashmir have even started functioning by starting their classes but central university at Jammu have not got its Vice Chancellor even.He further said that on one hand the people who are raising anti India slogans are given welcome treatment and on the other hand the innocent students who are fighting for the genuine cause of Central University are beaten mercilessly like animals. He said that the false cases which have been fabricated against the students if not withdrawn the BSP will chalk out future strategy to deal with the situation. He urged the central and the state government to immediately intervene into the matter and start the classes of the Central University at the earliest with the immediate appointment of its Vice Chancellor preferably from Jammu region to avoid further aggregating of the situation.
