| PDP state-level conference on July 28 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, July 23 (KNS): Opposition Peoples Democratic Party is organizing one-day state-level Panch and Sarpanch conference on July 28.
Hundreds of Panches and Sarpanches from across the state are expected to participate in the conference. PDP patron, Mufti Mohammad Syaeed, its president, Mehbooba Mufti, senior PDP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Muzafar Hussain Beig, senior leaders, Molvi Iftikhar Hussain Ansari and Mohammad Dilawar Mir are scheduled to address the conference.
Confirming the holding of conference, PDP Chief Spokesperson, Nayeem Akhtar said recently elected Panches and Sarpanches from Jammu are also participating.
Sources told KNS that prevailing political situation in Jammu and Kashmir would be discussed in the conference. “A resolution will also be passed by the PDP on the occasion,” they added.
