NPSU continues their agitation for the demand of CUJ

JAMMU, July 23: National Panther Students Union (NPSU) continued their agitation for the demand of CUJ on 23rd consecutive day and gave clear cut answer to the police administration and state as well as center govt. that the way which administration used to under estimate the voice and sentiments of students of Jammu region would not become so effective and all efforts by the govt. went in vain.
The students of Jammu, Samba, Udhampur and Ramnagar showed their anger after the incident of lathi charge and detention of students.
Despite of declared holiday by the college authorities, students of GGM Science college, Jammu assembled at college and Ghero the principal and his office. The protest was led by Shiv Dev Thakur (NPSU leader).
While addressing the gathering Thakur said that the administration once again is trying to suppress the voice of Jammu region but students would not tolerate it. He further said that instead of supporting the students after last days incident college administration is playing the role of touts of government.
Thakur said that the agitation of students regarding their rights would not come to end unless until their goal is not achieved and appealed the all political and non-political parties and leaders of Jammu region to unite together and fight for the sake of Jammu region.
Students of Ramnagar continued their protest by boycotted their classes and condemned the act of police.
Students of Udhampur, Samba also show their anger against the shameful act of police and dominate role of administration and condemned the behavior of college administration.
Partap Singh Jamwal (provincial president NPSU) condemned the shameful act of police and warned the state govt. and HRD ministry to act immediately on the genuine demand of Jammu region and soon appoint a VC for CUJ.
