BCP condemn delay in CUJ | | | Early Times Report Jammu, July 23: A meeting was held by the Bhartiya Chaitanya Party (BCP) for the issue related to the delay in Central University for Jammu (CUJ) which was sanctioned by the Prime Minister (PM) in 2007, during his convocation address and land was identified in the Samba district but the government opened its camp office in the Kashmir region. Later the state of Jammu and Kashmir was sanctioned with two Central Universities. While the central University in Srinagar is running the same is not the situation here in Jammu. The delay in the CUJ has been a great disappointment for the students, their parents and also to the people of Jammu at large. In the recent entrance examination conducted by the Jammu University for different post graduation courses more than 12,000 students appeared for the 1,500 seat leaving behind 10,000 students still in the aim of doing PG course and due to non functional of CUJ they will not be able to get admission in CUJ.
