| BSF School celebrates Vanmahotsava | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 23:
BSF Sr Sec School celebrated Vanmohotsava with great fervour and gaiety in the school campus. Krishna Khokhar was the Chief Guest on the occasion. She planted the saplings in the school premises and advised the children to grow more and more trees annually to make the environment healthy and lush green.
The tree plantation was done in the presence of five ‘Tatav’ i.e., Bhoomi, Agni , Vayu, Jal and Aakash. The scene was so imressive that the spectators were taken aback. Various programmes like ‘Slogan Writing and Poster making were organised. All the programmes were conveying the message “Save the Planet Earth”. On the celebration of Vanmahotsava, the Principal Dr S S Khokhar delivered a speech in the morning assembly in which he highlighted the importance of the Tree Plantation. All the sections of different classes planted saplings in the school premises in presence of the Chief Guest of the day and the Principal. The students were instructed to look after the saplings properly.
