| MLA Nowshera raises vital issues in Board meeting | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 24: In a press statement here today Radhay Sham Sharma, MLA Nowshera constituency elaborates the vital issues of the constituency raised by him during district Development Board meeting held at district headquater Rajouri under the chairmanship of S S Slathia, chairman and Minister for Industries and Commerce Department. He in his statement thanked Chief Minister (CM) for accepting his genuine request for sanctioning 50 MVA transformer for Grid station Kalakot which shall facilitate to provide uninterrupted electric supply and also in reducing the 18 hours power cuts daily to 12 hour scheduled power cuts daily.
Sharma also thanked the Power Development Department (PDD) for sanctioning augmentation of power receiving station of Chowki Handan and Kangri from 1.6MVA to 6.6 MVA and demanded disbursement of compensation to cocoons rearers who have suffered loss in the cocoon crops due to bad weather.
He further raised the vitals issues pertaining to Education, Health, PWD, Housing and Urban Development Department, Agriculture, Co-operatives, Social welfare sector and demanded the government for doing justice with Nowshera a border constituency while finalizing sector wise allocation of funds for proper development.
