Amar Singh Reds to face City Reds in final | Molvi Masood Cricket Tournament | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, July 24: Amar Singh Reds today confirmed their berth in the final to set the stage for interesting title clash with City Reds in the ongoing 3rd Molvi Masood Cricket Tournament, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), here. In the second semi-final, played today, Amar Singh Reds defeated Gymkhana Cricket Club by three wickets. Riding on the brilliant performance from siblings, Asif Rasool and Parveez Rasool, Amar Singh made it a comfortable win. Earlier, Amar Singh Reds won the toss and opted to field. Batting first, Gymkhana could manage 189 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 40 overs. Sami-ul-lah was top scorer with 87 runs coming off as many deliveries. From Amar Singh Reds, Asif Rasool was most successful bowler, who claimed three wickets for 55 runs. In reply, Parveez Rasool smashed unbeaten innings of 82-ball 94 runs to guide his side to reach the target in 30 overs for the loss of seven wickets. Now, Amar Singh Reds shall take on City Reds in the final to be played at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium. The tournament is being organized by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association.
