JURSEA alleges financial bungling in JKCA | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, July 24: Jammu University Research Scholars Executive Association (JURSEA) has taken a strong note of the alleged financial and administrative bungling in Jammu Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA). Addressing media persons here today, president JURSEA Rakesh Chib said that the malpractices in JKCA have been exposed a number of times in many press conference held at Jammu in the recent past. Chib alleged that the exposure of acts of omission and commission under gone by the office bearers of JKCA during the last few years has been clearly made in various quarters. Chib also said that bank statement of one of the JKCA bank accounts shows that cash withdrawal from the account during the financial year 2009-2010 alone amount to more than four crores that is through self cheques. No one knows for what purpose such huge cash withdrawals have been made and why expenditure by cheques have not been made. Does this not invoke a feeling that something unhealthy has been cooking. He claimed that the JURSEA is in possession of bank statement and it shows a total withdrawal of more than eight crores.
