| Four gamblers arrested | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 24:
Police today arrested four gamblers and recovered an amount of Rs 7200 from their possession during a raid in Indira Chowk area.
Sources said that police on specific information conducted a raid
in Karan Market and arrested four gamblers while they were busy in playing cards.
A sum of Rs 7200 was also recovered by the police from the spot. Those arrested include Govind Singh son of Gomaan Singh,Govardan Singh son of Madan Lal and Shyam Sharma son of Yashpaul Sharma and Budan Kumar son of Britan Dass, all residents of City .The police also recovered playing cards from the spot.
The accused were booked under Section 13 of Gambling Act with City police station.
