| Mohan Sharma along with supporters join Congress | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 24:
BJP leader from Sunderbani and former Sarpanch Mohan Sharma along with supporters today joined Congress in the presence of former Minister and senior Congress leader Dr Ramesh Sharma in a function held here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Mohan Lal Sharma said that due to good and people friendly polices particular to downtrodden, he was very much impressed and thus took decision to be a part of development activities of the UPA led central govt.
He mentioned that he will work for the betterment of the party in
Rajouri district and strengthen the hands of the Congress particularly
Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and
Ghulam Nabi Azad.
He disclosed that from last ten years he was in BJP and working as the president BJP Kissan Cell district Rajouri, but due to cross voting in
BJP he felt suffocated thus decided to quit BJP party.
Welcoming Mohan Lal Sharma along with supporters in party fold, Dr Ramesh Chander Sharma said that Mohan Lal Sharma’s joining will certainly help the party in district Rajouri. He expressed hope that year long experience of Mohan Sharma of working with rural people of Rajouri will strengthen Congress further.
