| One killed, several injured in road mishaps | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu: One person was killed while several other received injuries in road mishaps that took place across district Jammu here in rainy day of Sunday.
Sources giving information said that one person who was brought to GMC hospital after he fell from speed up matador at Nagrota succumbed to injuries. He has been identified as Tinku son of Raj Kumar of Nagrota. While as,two persons received injuries in truck -matador
collision at Bantlab, Nagrota. The truck bearing registration number JK02AA/8479 was on way to Udhampur while the matador bearing registration number JK02AS/5088 was on way to Jammu when the mishap occurred. The injured identified as Mohd Shafiq and Mohinder Singh
were rushed to the GMC hospital for treatment.
Four other persons received injuries when an Alto car bearing registration number JK02AD/8760 skidded off the road and plunged into 200 feet deep gorge at Bantlab, Nagrota. They were also rushed to the GMC hospital for treatment.
Likewise, five other persons referred to GMC hospital after their car bearing registration number JK12/0229 was hit with railway track, Kathua. They have been identified as Nazeem, Nadeem, Rashid Khan, Zaveda Begum and Khurshida Begum, all residents of Poonch. |
