| Man assaults brother with sickle | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU: A middle aged man was seriously injured Sunday morning after his brother allegedly struck him in the head with a sickle.
Police said brothers Balsar Ram and Nada Ram were arguing when Nada Ram hit his brother in the back of the head with a sickle, according to police.
Police said Balsar was knocked unconscious and bleeding profusely from the head.
The assault occurred at Bazigarh Basti, Akhnoor. After the incident the alleged accused fled from the spot while injured was rushed to the sub district hospital from where he was referred to GMC hospital for advance treatment. A case under section 452,323 RPC has been registered against the accused with Akhnoor police station and manhunt has been on to arrest him. |
