Kishtwar administration all set to host DDB Today | Clouds looms over success of DDB meet as MLA,s/MLC have threaten to skip the meet | | Asif Iqbal Naik EARLY TIMES REPORT Kishtwar July 24:- District Administration have geared up to host this year District Development Board meeting at newly constructed DC Office Complex at Khuleed on the outskirt of Kishtwar town. Chairman DDB Kishtwar Abdul Gani Malik honorable Higher Education Minister have already reached Kishtwar and several other head of the departments also started campaigning at Kishtwar since today's afternoon. According to reports, tomorrows DDB meet is likely to stormy one over the less allocation of funds for Kishtwar District which is less than 50 Crore. MLA Inderwal Ghulam Mohammad Saroori has reportedly left Kishtwar District and is not coming to attend the meeting tomorrow as a mark of resentment over less allocation of funds. Similar inputs were received from the PDP camp and their indication that PDP MLC Syed Asgar Ali is also going to lodge his protest against the less allocation of funds for Kishtwar district. However there is no confirmation from National Conference camp regarding the skipping of MLA Kishtwar Sajjad Ahmed Kichloo from tomorrow DDB meet, many NC workers have already shown resentment over less allocation of funds for various developmental works of Kishtwar District. The party leaders were pressing hard on Kichloo not to attend the DDB meet, however they have authorized Kichloo to take the final call on whether to boycott or not from DDB meeting scheduled to be held in Kishtwar on Monday. MLA’s are also annoyed over sanctioning of less amount under PMRP. Govt has earmarked Rs 1.50 Cr under PMRP as compared to Rs. 8 Crore last year. |
