| Two arrested for abducting girl | | |
Jammu, July 30 (PTI) Two persons were today arrested for allegedly abducting a girl from her residence in Poonch district, official sources said.
Zahida Akhtar was allegedly abducted by Mohmmad Sabir and five others from her house in Jallas village of Poonch district last night, they said.
Her family complained to the police following which a manhunt was launched to rescue the girl and arrest the culprits, the sources said.
Police arrested Sabir and Din Mohmmad, they said adding the girl is yet to be rescued. Efforts are on to arrest the other culprits and recover the girl. |
