| PDP shows concern over encroachment of Kishtwar hospital land | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar July 25: District president PDP Kishtwar Shakir Hussain Siddiqi has taken strong note of encroachment of district hospital Kishtwar land by some vested interests people.
In a statement issued on Monday, Siddiqi said that with the connivance of some hospital authorities, some vested interests have encroached a large chunk of hospital land thereby contracting the hospital area.
He said that former S.D.M. Kishtwar Mandeep Kour had constituted a commission for recovering the said encroached land and during the course of measurement of hospital land, in her report Kour had reported that 5 ½ kanals of hospital land had been encroached .
Siddiqi expressed his resentment against the hospital authorities and District administration for their criminal silence over the matter. Siddiqi has appealed Distt. Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Hussain Malik to intervene into the matter and take appropriate action against the land encroachers so that the encroached land will became free from the clutches of these vested interests.
He demanded registration of case against all those who found involved in encroachment of hospital land and also said that such encroacher needs to be put behind the bars.
Siddiqi has urged the people of the area to come forward against land encroachers who do not spare even hospitals to fulfill their own lust.
