| Car operator held with intoxicant syrup, capsules | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, July 25: Police today arrested a car operator at Rajbagh in Kathua, foiling an attempt by him to smuggle intoxicant syrup and capsules in the state from Pathankote.
SSP, Kathua, J L Sharma said in continuation to their drive against drug peddlers, a police party led by Rajbagh police station SHO, Inspector Rajinder Khajuria intercepted a Spark car (PB35M/3397) on the national highway in his jurisdiction during routine checking of vehicles.
The car search led cops to the recovery of 184 corex bottles and 600 parvanspas capsules, he added. The SSP said the car was then seized and its driver Sandeep Rana, son of
Raghubir Rana of Pathankote, arrested. A case was registered against him at Rajbagh police station.
