| Mehbooba visits family of Moshin Wani at Sopore to convey condolences | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, July 25: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) president Mehbooba Mufti visited the family of Mohsin Ahmed Wani S/O Manzoor Ah Wani R/o Jalalabad Sopore who was allegedly killed by unidentified gunmen in sopore.
She stayed with the family for some time and conveyed her personal condolences to them and the solidarity for her party.
Mohsin Ahmed Wani the victim of this latest killing was the only child of his widowed mother and had been married early in life. He leaves behind a young widow and three daughters, the eldest one just four year old.
The family is living in single rented room in a congested locality.
Condemning the killing Mehbooba urged the government to provide an out of way package to this family of destitute which has lost its only bread earner to senseless violence against defenseless individuals.
She strongly recommended a government job for the young widow of Mohsin Ahmed Wani. She said it was the failure of the state in providing security to its people that increasing number of people are falling prey to one kind of gun or the other.
This phenomenon, she said is adding to the tales of tragedy in the state in the state which have become a hall mark of NC whenever in power.
She said Sopore was in particular a victim of all kinds of guns and a special attention was needed to this area of immense economic potential and talented human resource.
