JKATF seeks probe in fraud by industrial houses | | | Early Times Report KATHUA, Jul 25: Jammu and Kashmir Anti-terrorism Front (JKATF) has demanded CBI probe into the alleged fraud of crores by metal and others industrial units.
President of JKATF Surinder Singh said that these industrial units have siphoned off crores of central excise refund by producing forged vouchers and transport entries. He added that a number of industrial units are looting the J&K government by way of production of branded material when they have neither the machinery nor the infrastructure and also no permission from the J&K finance department to go in for tie up with huge industrial houses located outside the J&K.
Singh alleged that while stone crushers have been banned in adjoining Punjab and Himachal, over two dozen stone crushers have been installed in Keerian Gandyal in Kathua in clear violation of all rules and regulations.
