| Gandhi Global Family to implement Gandhi ideology | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 25: Eminent Gandhian & vice president Gandhi Global Family New Delhi returned today at Jammu after touring North Eastern States of the country.
He was on the mission to take concrete steps for implementation of constructive programmes in accordance of Mahatma Gandhi ideology.
During his tour, he visited Assam, Arunachal Pradesh & Meghalaya States of North East & interacted with GGF organizational groups & called at Governor Assam J.B. Patnaik at Raj Bhawan & honoured his services towards country with Mahatma Gandhi Sewa Medal.
Later Governor & first lady enrolled themselves as life member of GGF. Varma along with office bearers of GGF North-East also called at CM Assam Tarun Chandra Gogoi & apprised him about the activities of GGF being undertaken world-wide under the able guidance of president GGF, New-Delhi, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Union Minister for Health & Family Welfare, who joined the Gandhian movement 42 years ago when he was a college student.
The GGF is strengthening it's network in North-East because from Mid October 2011, it •has planned to start Gandhian Parikrama around North-East from Guwahati for spreading the message of peace and harmony to be dedicated in the memory of GGF founder, Late Didi Nirmala Deshpande.
