| Coaching classes for KAS aspirants begin at JU | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, July 25: In continuation to its efforts for encouraging the students
to excel in competitive examinations, coaching unit for SC, ST and
minorities under the Department of Life Learning, University of Jammu on
Monday started coaching classes for KAS aspirants.
The coaching programme for KAS (preliminary) examination is aimed at
strengthening the students of SC, ST and minority community to qualify for
KAS-2011.
The coaching unit has taken a lead in providing free of cost training to
students of minority communities under the guidance of Director, Department
of Learning, Dr Poonam Dhawan.
In her address, Dr Dhawan stressed upon the importance of coaching
programmes and shared her vast experience with the students.
During the interactive session with Dr. Sarir Ahmad, a KAS officer who
shared the roadmap to success and gave them tips to clear the KAS
examination. The participants were appreciative of the information provided
to them.
Programme was coordinated by Vivek Sharma, Coordinator, Department of
Lifelong Learning, University of Jammu.
