JAMMU, July 26: The Executive members of Jammu Citizens Forum, in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Dr G N Kalra, strongly condemned the adjustments policy of newly promoted masters by Director School Education Jammu and urged upon the higher officials of education department to initiate an enquiry in this pick and choose drama of DSE Jammu. .

Thakur S V Singh, a retired engineer and member of JCF, said that Director School Education Jammu recently issued promotion orders of 894 teachers as masters including 60 dropout cases. He said that all promotes including five female dropees of Jammu district were allotted district Reasi whereas two males dropees of Jammu were allotted district Kishtwar and Doda.

Now, Director School Education Jammu vide No: DSEJ/NG/M/Prom/6500-01, dated 15-07-2011 issued orders for allotment of district Jammu for three male and one female master of Khour Zone with the plea that these four cases are dropout. In actual position, he has favoured few masters of Khour Zone on the behest of a Minister of that constituency, Thakur S V Singh alleged.

He further said that these masters were promoted vide Order No: DSEJ/NG/M/Prom/18750-63, dated 26-03-2010 at Sr. Nos. 706, 721 and 754 and these masters were allotted district Reasi at that time, but they did not joined their places of posting on promotion and their promotion was to be forfeited.

But instead of canceling their promotion, Director School Education Jammu might have included them in the list of 60 dropees which otherwise should be 65. He alleged that DSE Jammu has adopted pick and choose policy and allotted district Jammu to three masters by favouring them as dropees. He said it is reward for the non-compliance made by blue eyed persons in the previous promotion order.

Sunil Gupta, Gen. Secretary of JCF said that it is unfortunate that all the female promotes have been dislocated to district Reasi where the vacancies are laying in far flung militancy hit areas of district Reasi.

He said that it is for the first time that females of Jammu have been dislocated. He further said that in Jammu district 145 posts of Masters are presently lying vacant and 113 Masters are attached in Jammu City by the Director School Education Jammu and drawing HRA with their salary against the vacant posts illegally. He appealed the authorities to cancel such attachments immediately.

Members of JCF demanded that female promotes of Jammu district should be adjusted on 145 vacant posts of masters lying vacant in Jammu district so that the female folk can be able to handle their domestic and sibling problems.
