| 3 members committee framed, Executive officer attached | | Backdoor appointments in MCA | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
ANANTNAG, July 26:
Allegedly involved in backdoor appointments Scandal in Municipal Committee Anantnag, Executive officer Municipal Committee Anantnag, Bashir Ahmad Dar had been attached and transferred by the urban local bodies department.
“Officer has been attached after the department received several complaints about irregularities from different corners, especially alleged involvement of the officer in backdoor appointments.” Said Director Urban Local bodies, Mohd Afzal over telephone to this reporter, adding that a three member committee consisting Municipal commissioner Kashmir, Director Urban Local Bodies, Additional Sectary Local bodies as members as been framed for the investigation that will take near about a month.
Director Urban Local Bodies, Mohd Afzal said that the investigation has been initiated and the 3 members committee will submit its report within a period of month
It is here important to mention that few days before several employees complained in local daily about their wages that have not been released last from three months and they said that they have been appointment has made on basis of money I.e. 50thousnad per appointment.
Besides handling the office of Executive officer Municipal committee Anantnag, officer was also handing the offices of Municipal Committees Bijbehara and Mattan also. So, there are several complaints against the officer mostly about income and expenditure in his office. City dwellers have also raised fingers about the use of white cement.
